William “Ike” Lee Williams, 78, passed away May 6, 2011 at home.
Born Nov. 10,1932 in Pike County, he was the son of Russell O. and Neoma (Rock) Williams.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked
for the United Mines Workers. He belonged to the American Legion, United
Mine Workers and attended the Winslow Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his children, Eddie
Williams of Oakland City,
Ron Williams of Otwell, John Williams of Richland, Julia Williams of St. Anthony; brother, Bob
Williams of Peoria; sisters, Imogene Beck of Glezen,
Kathern Wilson of Bowman, Georgia Barrett of Muren; 22
grandchildren; and numerous great -grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
wives, Velma and Mary; sons, Gordon and Tony; brothers
James, Donald; sisters, Thelma Barrett and Vivian Norrington.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow. Burial will be in
the Williams Cemetery in Pike County.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
