Lillian A. Sanders, 89, formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Harriman, Tenn.
She was born Oct. 23, 1921 in Huntingburg to James and Charlotte (Schiller)
Goodman. She lived in Tennessee for more than 25 years, coming from the Princeton area where she worked for Potter & Brumfield for several
years. She is a member of the Luminary United Methodist Church in Ten Mile, Tenn.
She is survived by her grandchildren
and their spouses, Traci (Timothy) Walther of Shepherd, Mont., Nikki (Jeffrey) Watlington
of Jackson, Tenn., Wendi (Denny) Cates of Jackson, Tenn., Travis (Amanda)
Sanders of Ten Mile, Tenn.; and seven great grandchildren, Katelyn
and Caleb Watlington, Taylor, Alea
and Baylee Cates, and Hunter and Jessalyn
Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, Claude E. Sanders in 1997; son, Larry Claude Sanders in
2001; daughter-in-law, Doris McGinnis Sanders in 1998; and two sisters, Evelyn
Shafer and Ella Mae Harbison.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton, with the Rev. Larry Stephenson officiating. Family
and friends will meet at the cemetery. There will be no public
visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
