William R. Johnson, 72, of Oakland City passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Waters of Princeton.

He was born May 2, 1939 in Oakland City to William and Lena Johnson. 

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Johnson of Evansville; brother-in-law, Lindel Hume of Princeton; sister-in-law, Gloria Johnson of Cerro Gordo, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ted Johnson and sister, Judy Hume. 

 Graveside services were at 1 p.m. (central) Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City with Brother George Fiscus officiating.  There was no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City handled arrangements.
