Patricia A. Cook, 70, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

Born April 12, 1941 in Oakland City, she was the daughter of William Carr and Bonnie Agnes (Jones) Grubb.

She retired from Hansen Corp. after 44 years of service.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly K. Stransky of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two  brothers, Steven and William Grubb both of Oakland City; three sisters, Rita Shemwell of Brenda Jackson and Anita Morris all of Fort Branch; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandra Russell on Feb. 8, 2011.

Funeral services were Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch. The Rev. Steve Akins officiated. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.

Visitation was 11 a.m. until the service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
