David Eugene Taylor, 93, passed away Monday April 11, 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

Born March 22, 1918 in Princeton, he was the son of Raymond and Edith (Spore) Taylor.

He retired in 1972 as a Postal Supervisor in Indianapolis.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Survivors include a son, Donald Eugene (Philomena) Taylor of California; a sister, Bonnie Greene; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Marie Taylor in 2005; and two sisters.

 Graveside services will take place at a later date. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is handling arrangements.
