Gary Warren Mowrer, 64, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville.

He was born April 12, 1947 in Princeton, the son of Paul Warren and Emma Verdene (Wallace) Mowrer.

Gary was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1965, served in the Army National Guard, retired from the Operating Engineers Local 181 and had worked at Kindall Mine No. 2 in Petersburg.

 Survivors include his wife Delphina (Del) Winona (Warner) Mowrer; son, Kristopher Warren (Leah) Mowrer; grandson, Graydon Warren Mowrer; sister, Carol Ann Wilkerson; sister-in-law, Paula Clark; brother-in-law, Sheridan Doyle Warner; and a niece, Tammy Patterson.

 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Owensville.

 Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
