Assured by the promise of everlasting life,
George Henry (Jack) Kissel, 89, passed away with
dignity and stature on Easter Monday,
Born in
Jack retired from Key Ford-D Patrick in
Jack was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church, Gibson County Right To Life and
Haubstadt Historical Society. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of World War
II. Jack enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his
family.
Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years, Renilda (Meny) Kissel; his children, Maureen (Joseph) Ruggles,
Laurette (Bernie) Faraone,
Carmen (Rick) Jay, Gregory (Linda) Kissel all of
Haubstadt, Celeste (David) Karcher of Princeton,
Rachelle (Ted) Gore of Evansville; 19 grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Ruggles, Aaron Ruggles, Anna
Brian) Luigs, Adam Ruggles,
Katie (J.P.) Faraone Clayborn,
Benny Faraone, Dominic (Justine) Faraone, Tessa (Josh) Faraone Clayborn, Juliette Faraone, Sarah (Mike) Walls, Matthew Gore, Jim Kissel, Jonathan Kissel, Kristin
(Todd) Wannemuehler, Jeremy Kissel,
Alecia Kissel, Madeline Kissel, Hannah Jay and Nicholas Jay; seven
great-grandchildren, Laine, Ashlyn
and Joey Ruggles, James Wannemuehler,
Olivia Luigs, Gabriel Faraone,
Teddy Walls; four sisters, Sister Mary George Kissel,
O.S.B., Sister Margaret Carolyn Kissel, O.S.B. ,
Cecilia Kissel, Patricia (Tom) Trainer all of
Evansville; one brother, Robert (Jeannette) Kissel
of Evansville; one brother-in-law, Father Hilary Meny
of Haubstadt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and
a brother, Nicholas J. Kissel.
