John I. Cummins, 80, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at home.

 He retired from Potter & Brumfield and was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton.

 He is survived by his son, Mark Cummins; wife, Shelly of Princeton; daughter, Suzette (Brad) Devereaux and of Golden, Colo.; grandchildren Kyle, Hannah, Jacob and Madelyn Cummins; and a sister Martha Burk of Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Sue; and grandson, Johnathan Cummins.

 Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at First Baptist Church, 800 W. Faith Blvd., in Princeton.

 Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund.

Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
