Dorothy L. Schupp, 83, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. 

She was born Feb. 25, 1928 in Chicago, Ill., to Theodore and Goldie (Petersen) Kowarsch. 

She was a homemaker and  lived in the Princeton area for 62 years, moving here from Chicago.  She was a member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, George Schupp; five children, James C. (Cathy) Schupp, of Princeton, Sandra L. Wilkinson, of Boonville, Susan E. (Charley) Sisson, of Port Richey, Fla., Rebecca J. Greer, and Robert Weiss, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Georgia A. (John) McEllhiney, of Princeton; sister, Betty Leonardo, of Chicago; two brothers, Richard Kolasa , of Chicago, Raymond Kolasa , of Florida ; sister-in-law, Margaret Kowarsch, of Berwyn, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren,

 She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John E. Schupp; brother, Robert Kowarsch; and sister, Julia Merkle

 Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Miller Cemetery in Pike County with the Rev. Tony Edwards officiating with burial to follow.

Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
