Dymple P. Beadles, 87, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Owensville.

Born Nov. 16, 1923 in Pike County, she was the daughter of Orville and Millie Caroline (Luttrell) Brown.

She retired from Potter & Brumfield) in 1986. She also worked for Republic Aviation during WWII.  She was a member of the Spurgeon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Minuard Beadles; five children, Sandra Robinson of Owensville, Connie DeHaven of Mt. Vernon, Janet Ferguson of Elberfield, Ron  Beadles of Spurgeon, Terry Beadles of Stendal; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Doyle, Jay B., Bob, Roy “Junior” and Marlin.  

Funeral services will 10 a.m. (central) Friday, March 4, 2011 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with the Rev. Mel Camp officiating.  Burial will follow in Augusta Cemetery in Augusta.

Visitation will from 4-8 p.m. (central) Thursday and from 8 a.m. until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
