Barry W. Zimmerman, 62, of Princeton, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1948 in Princeton, to Heber and Mary A (Cooper) Zimmerman.
Barry graduated from Princeton High School in 1966. He was a rancher and horse trainer in Phoenix, Ariz. and was also employed at T.S. Boyds
Trucking in Washington. He attended the Friendship Christian Church
in Princeton. Barry was a veteran of the Vietnam War,
serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW Post 1147.
Barry is survived by his sons, Levi
and David Zimmerman both of Princeton; mother, Mary Zimmerman of Princeton; granddaughters, Alexis and Rylei; grandson,
Jonathan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his
father, Heber Zimmerman in 1985; and his sister, Cathy Susan Zimmerman in 2006.
There will be no services at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, who is handling arrangements.
The family will host a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at the Friendship Christian Church in Baldwin Heights, Princeton.
