Debra Kay Scott, 52 of Petersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at her home.

She was born in Gibson County July 3, 1958, daughter of Russell "Red" and Netta Mahan, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother James.

She lived in the Petersburg area since 1986 moving there from Princeton.

Before retiring she worked at the Dollar General Store in Petersburg. She was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Scott, and two sons Aaron Scott and Jason (Candy) Scott, all of Petersburg.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Larry Barr officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery east of Princeton. Friends may visit from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
