Sandra L. Russell, 75, of Fort Branch, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at home.

Born May 31, 1935 in Oakland City, she was the daughter of William Carr and Bonnie Agnes (Jones) Grubb.

She was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, and the Winslow Order of Eastern Star where she was a 50 year member. She was retired as the manager of the 3 D Discount Dept. Store in Vincennes.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Russell of Huntsville, Ala., Kelli (John) Decker of Hatfield; four sisters,  Patricia Cook, Rita Shemwell, Brenda Jackson and Anita Morris all of Fort Branch;  two brothers, Steven and William Grubb both of Oakland City; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at Stodghill Funeral Home located on Ind. 168 West in Fort Branch with the Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
