Judy C. Coomer, 58 of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 due to an automobile accident.

She graduated from Webster County High School, Dixon, KY in 1970 and from Oakland City College in 1974 with a B.S. in accounting and history. She was currently an accountant for PAC 2000 and a former payroll analyst at American General Finance. She also was a former director of the Public Library in Knights Town, Indiana. She was a member of Mt. Olive General Baptist Church in Winslow and an associate member of the Oakland City First General Baptist Church. She was the treasurer of the Flat Creek Assoc. of General Baptist and a board member of the Flat Creek General Baptist youth camp. 

Judy was born on July 30, 1952 in Henderson, KY to Raymond Eugene and Mary Cleo (Pruitt) Chandler, both deceased. 

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Leslie Coomer of Oakland City; son, Paul (Amanda) Coomer of Oakland City; daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Coomer of Hong Kong; grandson, Lucas Coomer; and 3 brothers, Vernon Chandler of Poole, KY, Donald Chandler of Sebree, KY and Jimmy Chandler of Poole, KY. 

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
