Dale A. White, 74, of Eaton Rapids, Mich., passed away Friday. May 8 in Kentucky.

Born Sept. 23, 1934, in Oakland City, he was the son of Luther and Agnes (Herbert) White.

He graduated from Purdue University and retired from Eaton Technology. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lansing, Mich. He gardened, specializing in strawberries, and he enjoyed golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Marietta Grant who he married in 1955 in Oakland City. ; daughters, Debra (Mark) Barrera of Eaton Rapids, Donna (Kent) Miller of Boonville; son, Mike (Teresa) White of New Baltimore, Mich.; brother, Charles (Carolyn) White of Oakland City; sisters, Janey Burch and Joyce Harbison of Princeton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shelly-Odell Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
