Glenn Edward Vaal, 37, (St. Meinrad) passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

Born March 11, 1972 in Tell City, he was the son of Thomas and Carol (Waninger) Vaal.

He married Denise Harper Aug. 31, 1991. He was employed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana. He was a 1990 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; daughter Gracelyn Vaal, sons, Garret and Gavin; sister, Brenda Smith of Fort Branch; brothers, David (Patricia) of Santa Claus, Brian (Pam) of St. Meinrad; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (CDT) Friday at St. Peters United Church of Christ in Lamar with the Rev. Chip Jahn officiating.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and from 8-10 a.m. (CDT) Friday at St. Peters United Church of Christ in Lamar
