Barbara Ann (McMillan) Summers, 77, passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.

Born Feb. 14, 1932, she was the daughter of William J. and Rosa Lee Frances (Murry) McMillan.

She was a nurses aid at Good Samaritan Hospital retiring from there after 30 years of service. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Adams (Gary) of Vincennes, Beth Hathaway (Robert) of Princeton; son, Paul Michael Summers of Indianapolis; sister, Cornelia Lee McMillan Alderton of Harvest, Ala.; brother, William James McMillan of Robinson, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles W. Summers; and sister, Betty Jane McMillan.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
