Beulah Fae Stephens, 91, of Patoka, passed away Saturday June 27,
2009 at the Waters of
Princeton.
She was the oldest daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Camp) Watkins, born
on Sept.
18, 1917 in Gibson County.
She lived most of her life in Danville, Ill. working at General Electric where she retired in 1974
after 21 years.
She joined Enon Baptist Church at the age of 12 and was reinstated after 76 years.
She was an avid reader, loved pictures and spending time with family and
friends. After the death of her husband Clyde
in 1991, she made her home with Charles and Debbie Danner, her son and
daughter-in-law, formerly of Alton,
Ill. recently moving to Patoka. Another son, Paul (Pat)
Danner of Dothan, Ala.. and
her daughter, Judy (Frank) Frietos of Idaho Falls,
Idaho, survives.
Also surviving is her brother, Bob Watkins of Princeton; sisters, Carroll (Joe) Corn of Princeton, Joann Malott
of Washington, Ind.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and
three great great- grandchildren.
She is preceded by her parents; and two sisters, Rosella Watkins and Helen
Reed.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton with Pastor Tammy Scheller
officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery near Owensville.
Visitation 10 a.m. until service time at noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
