Mary Ruth (Creacy) Smith, 92, of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at Parkview Care Center.

She retired from the Executive Inn and also worked at Union Federal Savings Bank. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Survivors include, son, Fred Smith (Rita) of Fort Branch; daughters, Margie Killian (Leo) of Evansville, Kathy Seib (David) of Evansville, Barbara Brack (Randy) of Evansville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild, two nieces; and one nephew

She was preceded in death by her infant twin sons, Michael and Randall Smith; daughter, Nancy Schmidt; parents, Arnold and Cecelia (Schaefer) Creacy; and sister, Roberta Arndt.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville and 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church 704 N. First Ave., Evansville with Father Jay Davidson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (Evansville, Indiana.)

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the funeral Home.
