Margaret M. Seib, 87, of Haubstadt, IN passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.

 

She was born to the late Antone and Elanora (Adler) Bittner on Dec. 28, 1921 in Vanderburgh, Co. IN.

 

She was a member of the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. She was also a member of the Altar Society and the Haubstadt D of I.

 

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by 2 children, Robert and Raymond Seib; and 2 brothers, Cornelius (Neal) Bittner, and Germaine Bittner.

 

Margie is survived by her husband Joseph E. Seib; 8 children and their spouses, Ruth (John) Schneider of Rochester, IN, Joann (Terry) Maurer of Haubstadt, IN, Gene (Pat) Seib of Evansville, IN, Bernie (George) Caucci, of Philadelphia, PA, George (Jeanie) Seib of Evansville, IN, Janie (Terry) Lamey, Haubstadt, IN, Paul (Mary Jo) Seib of Evansville, IN, Nora (Steve) Elpers of Evansville, IN; 3 brothers and 1 sister, Anthony Bittner of Evansville, IN, John (Bonnie) Bittner of Evansville, IN, Leo (Mary Ann) Bittner of Haubstadt, IN, and Dorothy (Russ) Stratman of Evansville, IN; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

 

A mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, with Fathers Tony Ernst, Kenneth Betz, Lowell Will, and Gary Kaiser Co-Celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

 

A visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN and again at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff at the River Oaks Health Campus and to the SouthernCare Hospice for the special care you gave their mother.
