Evadene Persinger, 89, of Winslow, passed away Monday Aug. 17, 2009 in Petersburg.

Born July 5, 1920 in Winslow, she was the daughter of Charles and Edna (Trigg) Nelson.

She was a cosmetologist from 1950-55 worked at RCA for 11 years and worked at for Naval Avionics from 1966-86.

Survivors include daughter, Patricia Persinger of Oakland City; nephew, John Nelson of California; and several cousins.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Aug. 22, 2009 at Montgomery Cemetery with Rev. Alec Hensley officiating.

Visitation will be 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
