Rosalyn Mae (Hilbert) Mounts, 73, passed away Saturday Jan. 31, 2009 at the Transcendent Health Care of Owensville.

Born Aug. 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Richard L. and Rosa Pearl (Neely) Hilbert.

She retired from Meisner's in Mt. Carmel after 13 years and was a member of the First General Baptist in Owensville. She graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1953.

Survivors include, daughters, Joretta Doss of Owensville, Barbara Smith of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Jane Simmons of Princeton; sons, Richard Bender Mounts of Evansville, Donald Mounts of Owensville, Mark Mounts of Jacksonville Fla., David Mounts of Evansville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Donald in 2004.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 2, 2009 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Bob Douglas will officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Ill.

Visitation was 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
