John T. McGillem Jr. passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009, in Layton, Utah, where he was undergoing medical treatment, reported a family member, Wayne McGillem.

Born March 26, 1933, in Princeton, he was the son of Florence and John T. McGillem Sr.

Survivors include by his sons, Michael T. and James T. McGillem, both of Texas; brothers, Jerry (Kathy) McGillem, Wayne (Jerri) McGillem, both of Princeton; sister, Darlene (Scott) Chenoweth of Evansville, half-sister, Alice McGillem Griffin of Illinois; and six nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There was no funeral service or visitation.
