Joy Morene Hunt of Frisco, Texas, died June 11, 2009 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers disease.

Born Jan. 4, 1934 in Owensville,  she was the daughter of Paul and Mary McLean.

She was a member of the Rockhill Church of Christ in Dallas.   She ran a day care service  and parented several foster children.  

She is survived by her l husband of 56 years, James (Jim) Hunt; daughter, Joni (Dick) Powell; and sons, Jim (Shelia) Hunt, Jeff (Mayra) Hunt, and Tracy Hunt; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, June Hoadley; and brothers, Billy, Mike, and Ralph McLean.

Visitation was Saturday, June 13, at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas.  Funeral services were held at Rockhill Church of Christ on Sunday, June 14 with interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas.
