Sondra (Rhodes) Hebner, 69, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital.

She was born
March 14, 1940, in Alma, Michigan.

She loved the Lord and attended Bible Center Cathedral. She volunteered at Eagles Way Soup Kitchen and Gibson County Council on Aging. She enjoyed painting and helping others.

Survivors include her husband, Edgar Hebner of Evansville; sons, Brad Bathgate and wife, Patty of Princeton, William L. Johnson and wife, Monica of Fort Branch, Don B. Johnson and wife, Joy, Jeffrey Hebner and wife, Sandra, Greg Hebner, all of Evansville; daughters, Pauline M. Hardin and husband Everrett, of Princeton, Linda Stinnette of Tampa, Fla; sisters, Janet Van Atten of Alma, Mich., Joan Huffman of Ovid, Mich.; and many grandchildren; and great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pauline Cater; and brother, Jim Cater.

Funeral services will be at
10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Alexander West Chapel, with Jeff Hebner officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Chapel Gardens Cemetery Alma, Mich..

Visitation will be
2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
