Mildred I. Fulling, 92, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
Miss Fulling was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Gibson County.
Miss Fulling was a member of Saint John's Church in Buckskin. Mildred joined the church in 1929. She
served on the church council, the board of christian education and taught a Sunday school class
for several years. She worked for 20 years at Custom Farm Service Plant in
Mackey. Mildred was a member of the Oakland City Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Ruby Fulling; four
nieces, Janice Wessel of Tennessee, Ruth Ann Sokeland of Oakland City, Sharon Strickland of Oakland
City, Tommie Chandarlis of Texas; five nephews, Bob Fulling of Oakland City, Allen Fulling
of Buckskin, Steve Fulling of Oakland City, Charles
McWilliams of Evansville and David McWilliams of New Jersey.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Emma (Buskuhl)
Fulling; six brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday,
Jan. 22, 2009 at at St. John's Church in Buckskin with the Rev. Frank Sapp officiating.
Burial will be at the St. John's Church Cemetery in Buckskin.
Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City and from noon
until service time on Thursday at the church.
