Clarence L. (Bunny) Deal, 79, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

Born Dec. 14, 1929, he was the son of George Wilford and Maggie (Hammond) Deal.

Clarence retired from Emge and has been a greeter at Wal-Mart for the past 15 years.

He was a member of Maumee General Baptist Church and a 1949 graduate of Owensville High School where he was on the basketball team.

Survivors include, a son Dean (Lynda) Deal of Princeton; daughters, Vicki (Randy) Boyd of Macomb Township, Mich., Connie Campbell of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren, Amy Horrell, Dawn Brooks, Alison Coning, Matt Boyd, Travas and Ryan Deal; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances Brown of Owensville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Martha Ripple, Mary Pauline Byrns; and brothers, George (Short) and Abner Deal.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery in Johnson.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
