Everett Coomer,
87, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
Born Dec. 20, 1921 in Princeton, he was the son of Thomas H. and Susie M. Coomer.
He resided in Princeton his entire life and retired from the former Potter
& Brumfield Manufacturing in Princeton where he was employed for 45 years. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Army during WW II.
Survivors include, brothers, Bennie Coomer of Princeton, Bobby Joe Coomer
of Lake Worth, Fla.; sister, Nola L. Clinton of Medford, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Edith E. Coomer on Jan. 12, 2009; a half sister, Ruth Davis; and
brother, Jack Coomer.
Private funeral services will be held, with Rev. Larry Meadows
officiating. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral
