Mabel C. (Meier) Bowman, 88 of Princeton and formerly of Mackey, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

She has attended the Salem United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Bingo. 

She was born on August 8, 1920 in Mackey to Joseph & Matilda (Meyer) Meier, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David C. Bowman in 1980; and 7 brothers and sisters. 

Mabel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol & David Perry of Princeton; 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Perry of Ringgold, Ga., Kelley Vescovi of Evansville, Denise Wilson of Princeton and Diana Haile of Crofton, Ky; 8 great grandchildren, Cassidy, Matt, Zach, Amber, Derrick, Alyssa, Ashton and Evan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Rev. Matt Malin. Burial will be at the Albright Cemetery in Mackey.

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
