Virginia R. (Dobson) Blunk, 88, of Princeton, formerly of Vincennes , passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at
the Waters of Princeton.
Born April 26,
1921 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of John O. and Harriet (Hodge) Gregory.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and
loved taking care of people as she took care of the elderly for many years.
Survivors include by her children, Jim Dobson
(Barbara) of Princeton, Michael Dobson of Los Angeles, Calif., Cathy Dobson of
Indianapolis; grandchildren, Tami Hook (Jeff) of Marshall, Ill., Jeff Dobson of
Indianapolis, Jennifer Howell (Kit) of Roanoke, Va.; and great-grandchildren,
Blake, Brock, and Brett Hook, all of Marshall, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her first husband,
William Dobson, who passed away March 22,
1977; second husband, Robert Blunk who passed away May 26, 1984; brother, John Gregory; and sisters, Helen Hargrove, Patsy Brock,
Marjorie Johnson, Elizabeth Jane Johnson, Olive Blunk,
Eleanor Ferguson and Evelyn Gregory.
Funeral services will be at 1
p.m. (eastern) Thursday, July 16, 2009 at
Goodwin Funeral Home in Vincennes with
burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 11
a.m. until the service time.
