Beulah M. Bachelor, 78, Mt. Carmel died Sunday September 13, 2009 at her residence.

Born Feb. 22, 1931 in Gibson County, she was the daughter of Johnny and Lorena (Deisher) Renner.

She married Jessie L. Batchelor on Nov. 21, 1947 in Mt. Carmel.

She attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include by six children, John (Mindy) Batchelor, Jesse Wayne (Marla) Batchelor, Sue (Russ) Giebler, Annette (Tim) Johnson, Larry (Sally) Batchelor, Donna Batchelor, all of Mt. Carmel; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie L. Batchelor in September 2003; daughter, Linda Lou Batchelor; two brothers, Herman Renner, Leonard Renner; and sister, Geneve Renner Potts.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Short Funeral Home in Mt. Carmel.
