Leola was a devoted housewife
who enjoyed spending her time as a wife, mom, and grandma. She had a love for
quilting, crocheting, and baking. She has been a member of Broadway Christian
Church for 59 years where she treasured being the Secretary of Sunday School
for many years. She will truly be missed by those who knew her as a very loving
person.
She is survived by her
husband, Louis, of Princeton; one daughter, Rose (Greg) Obert
of Fort Branch; two sons, Ronald (Patricia) of Fort Branch, and A. Duane
(Patty) of Everett, Washington; 11 grandchildren, Lori Spindler, Sarah
Spindler, Elizabeth Ivy, Matthew Obert, Stepehen Yockey, Monica Johnson,
Anthony Yockey, Lydia O’Connor, Elijah, Jonathan, and
Daniel Yockey; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother,
Duane (Mabel) Myers of Huntley, Illinois; one sister, Wenona
Myers of Albion, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Marie Myers of West Salem, Illinois;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; 5 brothers, Morley, Lester, Roy,
