Frances Edith Weber, 81, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 29th, 2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN.

 

She was born in Gibson County on March 11, 1924 to the late Joseph and Dora (Morgan) Weber.

 

Besides her parents, Frances is also preceded in death by her husband Harold Joseph Weber in 1992; and a daughter Virginia Weber in 1961.

 

Frances is a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. She also belonged to the Oblates of St. Benedict and the Right to Life.

 

She is survived by 12 children and their spouses, Steve Weber of Haubstadt, Michael (Rosemary) Weber of Haubstadt, Larry “Pete” (Terri) Weber of Fort Branch, Garry “Jack” (Joyce) Weber of Princeton, IN., Alan (Kim) Weber of Haubstadt, Donna (Ed) Bassett of Grand Rivers, KY, Sylvia (Jim) Rose of Fort Branch, IN, Jeanne (Chuck) Watkins of Ft. Branch, IN, Lois (Dave) Echert of Haubstadt, Bernadette (Jim) Wallace of Haubstadt, Barbara (Blaine) Brothers of Pittsboro, IN, and Sharon (Thomas) Giza of Mooresville, IN; 4 brothers and sisters surviving, Clarence Weber of Princeton, IN, Nettie Sokeland of Owensville, IN, Helen Hoefling of Fort Branch, IN, and Leona Harmon of Fort Branch, IN; 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

 

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Saturday, July 2nd, 2005 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN. at 11:00 A.M., with burial in the church cemetery. Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant.

 

Friends may call for visitation at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 west in Fort Branch, IN. on Friday, July 1st, 2005 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and again at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:30 P.M.
