(November 10, 1946 - February 28, 2004) 

Andy Wassmer age 57, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on February 28, 2004 at the Parkview Nursing Home in Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Bertha (Pfeiffer) Wassmer and a son Thomas Wassmer in 1998.

Andy was a Truck Driver and a member of Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch.

He is survived by his wife Betty (Powers) Wassmer of Fort Branch; a daughter, Andrea and her husband Brad Trauger of Evansville; a grandson, Wesley Trauger; brothers, Marcus Wassmer of Fort Branch, Paul Wassmer of Owensboro KY, Henry Wassmer of Cynthiana IN and Joe Wassmer of Mt. Vernon, IN; 2 sisters, Mary Roberts of Fort Branch, IN and Henrietta Hughes of Haubstadt, IN.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at 11:00A.M., with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Father Tony Ernst and Deacon Ed Wilkerson will be the celebrants.

Friends may call for visitation from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 1, 2004 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
