Franklin A. Ward, 66, died at his home in Fort Branch on January 17, 2004 at 1:00 P.M.

Frank was born on May 12, 1937 to Hollis and Malinda (Obert) Ward in Haubstadt, IN.

Frank was a Member of Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch, the Haubstadt Historical Society, Knights of St. John and Eagles in Mt.Carmel. Frank was retired from Emges/Excel and was a driver for SWIRCA.

He is survived by his wife of 40 Years, Sandra (Hatfield)Ward of Fort Branch; 7 children and their spouses, Anne and Paul Buchanan of Wadesville, IN Jane and Bob Hoerner of Evansville, IN Christina and Todd Lindsey, Lori and David Brinksneader of Versailles KY Rebecca Ward of Arizona City, AZ, Amy Reed of Evansville, IN and Brian Franklin Ward of Fort Branch, IN; he was the beloved grandfather of 13 grandchildren they are, Nicholas, Nathan, Corey and Ethan Buchanan, Ariel Hoerner, Ashley, Jackie and Cody Lindsey, Nicolette and Vanessa Brinksneader and Tyler Ward, Isis Strickland, and Karinne Reed; a sister and her spouse Cheryl and Keith Spindler of Haubstadt, IN; 4 brothers and their spouses William and Stella Ward of Shenandoah, TX, Robert and Gayle Ward of Mt Vernon, IN, Steve and Marilyn Ward of Evansville, IN and Paul and Theo Ward of Lancaster, CA.

Visitation will be Monday January 19, 2004 from 2:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 W. in Fort Branch IN and again on Tuesday January 20, 2004 at the funeral home from 9:00 am till 10:30 A.M.

A prayer service will be conducted at 5:30 PM at the Funeral Home on Monday evening. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, Father Tony Ernst will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Haubstadt, IN.
