Mildred Cecelia (Benkert) Wallace, 87, of
She was born to the late Leo
and Rosetta Benkert on
Mildred was a member of the
St. James Catholic Church and the St. James Ladies Altar Society. She was
active in her parish enjoying both quilting and cooking for parish social and
turkey shoot. Mildred retired after 20 years as a cook from the Log Inn. She
enjoyed exercising her culinary skills at large family gatherings. Mildred
spent many hours crafting quilts for her children, grandchildren, and great
grandchildren.
Besides her parents she is
preceded in death by a son Steve, and a brother Bud Benkert.
Mildred is survived by her
husband of 63 years, Omar (Tom) Wallace; children, Tom (Lorinda)

The family would like to
thank Deaconess Hospital Emergency Room Staff as well as ICU 2000. A Mass of
Christian burial will be conducted on
