Esther Marie Thompson, 84, of St. Wendel, IN formerly of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10th, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born to the late Jacob and Veronica (Schmit) Reinhart on Sept. 19th, 1921 in Princeton, IN.

She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run, IN.

Besides her parents Esther is also preceded in death by her husband Leo E. Thompson who passed away on Jan. 4th, 2004; 1 Daughter and 1 Son, Carolyn Jost in 2000, and David Thompson in 1982.

Esther is survived by 3 sons and their spouses, Tom and Mary Jane Thompson of St. Wendel, IN, Richard and Celesta Thompson of Sullivan, IN, and Stephen Thompson of Fort Branch, IN; 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 13th, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run. Fathers Tony Ernst and Paul Ferguson will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation for Esther will be on Monday, Dec. 12th, 2005 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. that evening at the funeral home. The body will also lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time.
