Lloyd Thomas St. Clair, 82,
of Princeton, IN passed away on Thursday, July 27th, 2007 at the Waters in Princeton, IN.
He was born to the late Andy
and Evah (Stines) St. Clair
on August
31st, 1924 in Warrick County, IN.
Lloyd is a member of the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, IN. He served in the U.S, navy during World War II and is
a member of the Princeton VFW Post # 1147. Before retiring from Whirlpool Corp.
in Evansville, IN in 1987 after 22 years of
service, Lloyd was editor for the Princeton Daily Clarion in the late 50’s and
early 60’s and before that he was editor for the Frankfort Morning Times.
Lloyd is survived by his wife
of 54 years, Mary Allene (Mason) St. Clair; 3
children, Brett (Polly) St. Clair of Princeton, IN, Brian (Lisa) St. Clair of Princeton, IN, and Shari
(Michael) Bazydola of Nashville, TN; 1 sister, Lynda
(Tom) Zuber Of Evansville, IN; 8 grandchildren,
Alexis, Carrissa, and Tuck Bazydola,
Justin, (Holly), Ambree Kight,
Trevor, Ginger, and Melody St. Clair; 3 great grandchildren, Sadie Copage, Luke Caskey, and Brianna
St. Clair.
Services for Lloyd will be on
Monday,
July 30th, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hillside First United Methodist Church in Princeton, IN, Rev. Craig Duke will officiate, with burial in Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville, IN. Military graveside services will
be conducted at the cemetery on Monday by the Princeton VFW Post 1147.
Visitation will be on Sunday,
July 29th, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home
located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN an again from 12:00 P.M., Monday at
the church until service time.
