Mary Frances Schmit, age 80, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on October 18, 2005 at the River Oaks Campus in Princeton, IN.
She was born on November 5, 1924 in Gibson County IN to the late Arthur L and Olive (Stewart) Robinson.
She was a member of the Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch, IN, and was very proud of being a Pink Lady at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She is survived by her
husband of 60 years, having been married on October 25, 1944, Edward Schmit; a son, Mark Schmit of
Gallatin, TN; 2 grandsons Cody and Cale Schmitt; 1
brother Kenneth and his wife Selwyn Robinson of Fort Branch; 4 sisters and
their spouses, Betty and Lawrence Gwaltney , Louise and Ed Robb and Jesse Ann and Charles Adler all of
Fort Branch IN and Genevieve and Allen Crook of Kettering, OH
A Mass of Christian burial
for Mary Frances will be on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN with
Father Tony Ernst and Father Paul Ferguson officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday,
October 20, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM
at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on 168 West in Fort Branch with a prayer service on Thursday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
