Francis J. Schile, 87, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away July 4th ,
2007 at Ohio Valley Hospice
in Evansville, IN.
Francis was born on December 31,
1919 in Posey County IN to the late Valentine and Frances Rose (Urich) Schile.
He was a farmer, and was retired
from Emge Meat Packing in Fort Branch, IN, and was a former employee of Wilbert Vault Company
for 10 years. Francis was a member of the St Bernards
Catholic Church in Snake Run, IN and a former member of Princeton
Eagles.
Francis is survived by his
wife of 65 years Mary Pauline (Tremor) Schile of Fort
Branch; 9 children and their spouses, Gerald (Liz) Schile
of Memphis TN, Stella (Terry) Bennett of Beaumont TX, Michael (Ardith) Schile of Evansville IN
Patrick (Linda) Schile of Newburgh, IN Maurita (Charles) Braun of Evansville IN, Ramona (Liz)
(Bob) Bulkley of Newburgh IN, Mark (Karen) Schile of Fort Branch, IN, Sally (Mike) Mathis of Fort
Branch, IN., and Timothy Schile of Bedford IN; 19 grandchildren;
and 25 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents Francis
is preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren Jessica and Ryan Schile.
A mass of Christian burial
for Francis will be Friday July 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the St Bernard Church in Snake Run with burial in the church
cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday July 5,
2007 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
with a prayer service at 7:30 PM
at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West
in Fort Branch, and again from 9:00 A.M. till 10:30 AM on Friday
with a precession to the church for the service. The family would like to thank
all the nurses and the staff for the excellent care and compassion of the Ohio
Valley Hospice Unit.
