Harold A. Ostrander, 81, of Fort Branch, IN passed away in his home Sunday evening.

He was born to the late Ivan and Blanche (McGee) Ostrander in Mexico, Missouri on Sept.13, 1924.

Harold was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN a member of the Good Sam Club. He was very proud to have been a Cub Scout Leader in Fort Branch in the late 50's. He was Manager of the Wilbert Vault Company in the late 60's. He was also a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.

Besides his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bernice E. Ostrander on July 21, 2003.

He is survived by 2 sons and their wives, Mike and Pat Ostrander of Evansville, IN and Tim and Sue Ostrander of Griffin, IN; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and they are Nancy, Sara, and Erik Ostrander, Julie(Heath) Dill , Jordon Ostrander, Audrey Mayberry, Courtnee (J.R.) Exline , Braylee Ostrander, Haley and Paige Exline, and Kaya and Luca Dill and Aurora Mayberry.

Services will be conducted on Friday, May 26,2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home Fort Branch, IN. Fathers Tony Ernst and Paul Ferguson will be officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Military graveside services conducted by V.F.W. Post 2714.

Friends may call for visitation on Friday May 26 2006 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN.
