On February 19th,
2005, Robert (Logan) Neufelder went to be with
our Lord.
He was a loving father and grandfather
and will be missed greatly. Logan
resided in Haubstadt, IN and was formerly of Fort Branch, IN.
He was born on Sept. 20th 1930 in Fort Branch, IN to the late Raymond and Ellen (Wiseman) Neufelder.
Logan was owner of Logan’s Barbershop in downtown Fort Branch for many years and also owned the Neufelder
IGA, and the Dog and Suds. Logan
worked as a boilermaker in Louisiana
before moving back to Indiana in recent years. Logan enjoyed shooting pool at Charlie Attebery’s
with his friends. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the
VFW Post #2714 in Fort Branch, and he was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in
Fort Branch.
Besides his parents, Logan is also preceded in death by his step mother Lillian
(Spindler) Neufelder; 2
brothers and a sister, William Neufelder Charles Neufelder and Rosemary Neufelder.
He is survived by 3 children
Amy Williams of Haubstadt, IN, Beth Lipko of Eveansville, IN, and Eric Neufelder
of Ft. Lauderdale FL; 6 brothers and sisters, Raymond Neufelder
of Brandon, FL., Leo and Darwin Neufelder of Fort
Branch, IN, Marietta Jones, Neda Atteberry
and Alberta Conners all of Fort Branch, IN; 4
grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeffery Lipko, and Lacy
and Lee Williams; and his former wife Jacqueline Fulton of Princeton, IN.
A memorial service will be
conducted on 7:30 P.M. Tuesday
evening,, February 22, 2005 at the Stodghill Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. Tuesday until service time that evening. A grave side
Military committal service will be conducted the following day, Wednesday,
February 23rd, at Holy Cross Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. by the Fort Branch, VFW Post #2714.
