Earl R. (Bo) Miley, 70, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2005 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.
He was born on Oct. 31st, 1934 to the late Imal and Avis (Reneer) Miley.
Bo taught music in the South
Gibson School Corp. for 40 years, having served as Band Director at Fort Branch
and Gibson Southern High Schools and finally at Fort Branch Community School
before retiring. He was a 1952 graduate of Princeton High
School and
received his B.S and Masters degree at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. He is a member
of the Phi Mu Alpha Symphonia.
He is a member of the Bible Center
Cathedral in Evansville, IN. Bo was a Past Master and Secretary of the Fort
Branch Masonic Lodge #696, and was an Ambasador for
the Masonic Home Foundation. He was also a Worthy Patron for the Fort Branch
Order of Eastern Star Chapter #455. Bo was devoted to his family and had a love
for trains, music and computers.
He is survived by his wife,
Sharon (Floyd) Miley and 2 sons and their spouses, Kevin
Ray and Vanesa Miley of ManHeim, Germany, and Kim Joseph and Megan Miley of Fort Branch, IN; a brother Mike Miley of Vincennes, IN; sister in-law Linda and Tom Reiner of Cedar Hill, MO; brother In-law Joe (Downy) and Ruth Floyd of
San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren, Todd Joseph Miley,
Margie Miley, and Melissa Marie Miley; 3 nieces, 4 nephews,
an aunt, and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by 2 nephews.
Services for Bo will be Thursday October
6 2005 at 2 pm at the Stodghill Funeral
Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch IN.
Visitation will be Wednesday October
5, 2005 at the funeral home
from 4 pm till 8 pm.
An Eastern Star and Masonic Service will
be conducted at 7 pm at the funeral
home Wednesday Evening by the Fort Branch Lodge # 696 and The Eastern Star
Chapter #455.
