Paul W. Leister, 77, of Fort Branch, IN., passed away on Monday, November 20th, 2006 at Vista Care Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.

He was born on November 19th, 1929 in Fort Branch, IN to the late George A. and Edith (Smith) Leister and has resided in Fort Branch for most of his life.

Paul was retired from the Emge Meat Packing Co. where he was a truck driver. He was a member of the Fort Branch First Presbyterian Church.

Besides his parents Paul was preceded in death by 3 brothers Delmar, Earl, and Darby Leister and 1 grand son, David Klusmeier in 1999.

He is survived by 5 children and their spouses, Elaine (Don) Klusmeier of Francisco, IN, Marlene Davis of Evansville, IN, Steve (Brenda) Leister of Owensville, IN., Diana Heldt of Newburgh, IN. and Paula Hall of Bowling Green, KY. He also is survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Urmal Leister of Owensville, IN, Gene Leister of Fort Branch, IN, Josephine Deal of Cynthiana, IN, and Jeanette Thompson of Cynthiana, IN. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services for Paul will be on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd, 2006 at 2:00 PM. At the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. Reverend Tarrell Thompson will officiate, burial will be in St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 21st, 2006 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
