Norman A. Kissel,
73, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born to the late
Norman and Eleanora (Baehl)
Kissel on November 24, 1930 in Haubstadt, IN.
Norman was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN, the Knights of Columbus in Haubstadt, and the
American Legion in Haubstadt. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served
in the U.S. Navy.
Besides his parents Norman is preceded in death by 1 brother, Bill Kissel.
He is survived by his wife
Lois (Roberts) Kissel,3 children and their spouses,
Kathy and Conan Wallace of Winchester, IN, Mary Kissel of Owensboro, KY, Sheila and Steve Hussey of Pittsboro, IN. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Peter, Grace, Daniel,
and Aaron Wallace, and Sarah, Jake, and Justin Hussey. He also has a brother,
and sister, and their spouses, Barbara and Chet Staples of Evansville, IN, and
Charles and Donna Kissel of Indianapolis, IN. Also a brother-in-law, Stanley
Roberts of Indianapolis, IN and a sister In-law, Wanda Kissel
of Evansville, IN.
A mass of Christian burial
will be conducted on Monday, December 22, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, with burial in the church cemetery. Father Tony
Ernst will be the celebrant.
Friends may call on Sunday December
21, 2003 from 12:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on
Hwy. 168 West in Fort
Branch, IN and again from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 A.M. at the
funeral home Monday. A rosary will be recited by the church parish Sunday
evening at 7:30
P.M.
