Helen M Hoefling, age 87, of Fort Branch IN, passed away on March 17, 2006 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton IN.

 

Helen was born to the late Joseph and Dora (Morgan) Weber on July 10, 1918 in Francisco IN.

 

She was a member of the Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch, the St Bernadette Auxilary and was a Strong Sports Enthusiast for I.U. and the St Louis Cardinals and loved to play Clabber.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband Francis E Hoefling on March 11, 2000, a son Joe Hoefling on June 16, 1995 and 2 daughters Carolyn Salmon on October 23. 1994 and Mary Ann Graper on August 27, 1998 and 2 grand children Padaric Odom on June 24, 1983 and Patience Diephius on December 14, 1995.

 

Helen is survived by 3 daughters, Helen Marie Odom of Fort Branch, IN, Rose Gerth of Evansville IN and Phyllis Hoefling of Owensville IN 2 sisters and 1 brother, Nettie Sokeland of Princeton IN, Leona Harmon of Fort Branch, IN and Clarence Weber of Princeton. 10 grandchildren Ed , Pat Odom, Tim Mike, Greg ,Jeff Graper, Lynette Mann, Melissa Eades, Brian and Aaron Gerth, 18 great grandchildren, Megan Davis, Eddie and Jesse Odom, Amy Pollock, Joe Diephius, LeeAnn and Benjamin Odom, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Melissa, Tyler, Zach and Cole Graper Taylor, Kayla, Elie and Ethan Gerth and Zaide Eades. 2 great great grandchildren: Lane Pollock and Patience Diephius

 

Services for Helen will be Tuesday March 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch IN with the Father Tony Ernst and Father Paul Ferguson officiating.

 

Visitation will be on Monday, March 20, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch.
