Robert A Hallam, 86, of Fort Branch IN died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Robert was born May 22, 1919 to the late Chester and Elizabeth (Baer) Hallam in Albion IL.

He retired from Whirlpool in 1983 and was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church .

Robert was preceded in death by his wife on May 22, 2003 and 6 brothers: Floyd, Carmen, Millar, Cyril, Windell, and Don Hallam and a sister Mary Powers.

Robert is survived by 3 children, Gary Schuble and his wife Susie of Fort Branch, Marianne Lingus of Fort Branch and Susan Gould of Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Brian Lingus, Therl and Thea Gould and Kenneth Schuble and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Robert will be held on Friday February 17, 2006 at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy 168 West in Fort Branch at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Steve Akins officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 16, 2006 from 4 to 8 Pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.
