Benajamin C. Graper, 79, of New Palestine Indiana, formerly of Fort Branch, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at Hancock Memorial Hospital.

He retired from the Soil Conservation Service and was a World War II Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Marie; daughter Elaine Whitfield; son Kurt; sister Francis Pugh; brother John; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 am Monday at St. Lucas United Church of Christ in Fort Branch, burial in the church cemetery.

Vistitation is 4 to 8 pm Friday at Hendryx Mortuary in New Palestine and from 4 to 8 pm Sunday at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch.
