Delores French, 80, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 17th, 2005 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.
She was born on August 9th, 1925 to the late Harry M. and Edna (Miller) Conner in
Santa Claus, IN.
Delores attended the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church, she was a lifetime member of the Gibson General Aux.
For the last 18 years, she was a member of the VFW Post 2714 Ladies Aux., and
the Red Hat Society. She loved flowers and fishing in Texas and Florida, and she loved going on trips.
Besides her parents, Delores
is also preceded in death by her Husband Jesse B. French in 2000, a sister Jane
Patterson in 1985 and a brother, Larry Conner in 1958.
She is survived by her son
and his wife, Brett (Jackie) French in Fort Branch, IN, a sister Hazel Newell
of Hammond, IN, a sister In-law Martha Smith of Princeton, IN a grand daughter,
Michelle French of Fort Branch and a good friend who helped her when her
eyesight worsened., Phyllis Schmitts, and many
friends and loved ones.
Services for Delores will be
on Monday, November 21st, 2005 at 10:00 A,M, at the Stodghill Funeral Home located in Fort Branch, IN on Hwy. 168 West. Reverend John Windell
will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
Friends may call for
visitation on Sunday, November 20th, 2005 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the
funeral home.
