Isabel Eley, 87, formerly of Lakeview, Ohio, passed away at The Waters in Princeton, IN on Monday, Sept. 6, 2004.

She was born to the late Chester and Ruth Ellen (Woods) Beck on November 23, 1916 in Logan County, Ohio.

Besides her parents, Isabel is preceded in death by her husband John Max Eley who passed away on Feb. 5, 2002.

She worked most of her life as a sales clerk in retail stores and was a housewife. Isabel belonged to the Trinity Methodist church in Lakeview.

She is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters and their spouses. Duane and Joanne Eley of Boulevard, CA., Chester and Marie Eley of Lake Wales FL., Connie and Paul Osborne of Fort Branch, IN., and Ruthanna Tynan of Lakeview, FL. She is also survived by 1 brother, Robert Beck of Lakeview, OH, 10 grandchildren, 7 great Grandchildren and several Step Grand and Step Great Grandchildren..

A private viewing will be held at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN for family members and a public viewing and funeral will be held at the Van Horn Funeral Home in Lakeview, OH on Friday evening and Saturday.
